    Org
    Org View
    Refers to the area in the left hand side of the BizRun application interface. This area displays the organizational structure and individual Orgs.
    Action Panel
    Refers to the area in the right hand side of the BizRun application interface. This area displays the organizational structure and individual Orgs
    Person
    Refers to an individual employee within a company.
    Approval / Rejection
    Change of Status transactions are routed to the appropriate manager / supervisor system or org administrator for review. The result of the review is either “Approval” or “Rejection”.
    Voting
    Change of Status transactions are routed in parallel to the appropriate manager / supervisor system or org administrator for review. All parties involved in the review can “see’ the approval or rejection status or “vote” of each party in real time.
    Position
    Refers to the name or title of an individual job description.
    Google Domain API
    Google Apps for Work administrators have access to Google Apps Administrative APIs. These APIs allow you to collaborate with the Google Apps services and 3rd Party applications like BizRun.
    “Downstream”
    Downstream refers to the people/employees who report either directly or through a manager/supervisor to a manager or supervisor.
    “Activate” your Org
    Upon installation and import of your people / employees, BizRun allows users to build and edit their Org Structure without requiring approvals or launching associated tasks. Once satisfied with the initial Org Structure, users typically “Activate” their Org by clicking the Enable Approval Workflow button. From this point forward changes to the Org will launch approval workflows and associated tasks.
    Change of Status Transaction
    A human resources transaction that may require review and approval routing that changes a person / employee’s current status.

    Google Admin Console
    The Google Admin Console is the dashboard that your Google Apps for Work Administrator (often referred to as the Google Admin or SuperAdmin) uses to manage your Google Apps for Work environment. This includes adding/removing all people/employees, security setting, device management and more within your company. BizRun imports your people/employees automatically as a part of the installation process.
    Directory
    Users can view their people / employees in either their Org or in the Directory which is found in the Action Panel. The Directory is populated as a part of building your initial Org Structure or when a new employee is moved from the LaunchPad to their Org.
    LaunchPad
    Upon installation and import of your people / employees from the Google Apps for Work admin console, BizRun places your people in the LaunchPad. Newly created employees will also be placed in the LaunchPad until a user assigns them to their appropriate Org.
    Manager / Supervisor
    Any person / employee who has at least one (1) direct report (person filling a Subordinate Position)
    Subordinate Position
    Any person / employee who reports directly to a Manager or Supervisor.
